A glimpse into my childhood! There I was, 10 years ago, as dorky as ever, in my new winter pajamas, butterfly hat, wearing Nanna’s glasses and in the middle of chemotherapy to treat Osteosarcoma.

These photos were taken some time apart. The first was at the beginning of treatment (when I just lost my hair!), the second was nearing the end. So, I know I look rather dorky, but as today is exactly 10 years since I was diagnosed (wow!), I thought I’d share these silly photos! :) And seeing as we’re about to head into June (Sarcoma awareness month), I encourage everyone to try and wear a yellow ribbon at some point, please. :) Because even though it is a rarer cancer, it’s still pretty crappy to have.

So, 10 years and counting. :)

The most inspirational person I’ve ever met in my life. She is someone that has gone through so much but lives which such a positive attitude and strives for happiness in life today :) Reblog this beautiful, wonderful girl! One that has touched mine and so many hearts :) so grateful to have you in my life my dear :D xx
